I am a female solo writer, based in Bracknell, Berks. With a basic home studio my tracks are led by electro-acoustic sounds and lots of melody. Smile (You are OM) uses various orchestral sounds with a strong bass and drums. For the brief time that I made music in the late 1990s, it attracted the interest of the now late music publishing mogul Bryan Morrison (most famous for discovering Pink Floyd and The Sex Pistols (please see ‘behind the music’ page at www.amirasagher.com [+]). Unfortunately personal crises meant I had to break away from writing before I’d really got going

    "Hey there Brags Boogie, not sure what you would call this type of music, a cross between Royksopp and Boards of Canada so you could call it electroacoustic. Do you think the bass needs to be louder!! Trouble is different systems will give different quality of playback, on my car stereo for example the bass is too much and kind of washes out the rest of the track but the online version is quite bassy. Do you think it needs to be louder? Which track are you referring to, or both?!"
